Ola Electric Expands its National Footprint with 4,000 Stores Nationwide

Ola Electric, a major player in the Indian electric vehicle space, has announced blueprints of massive expansion of full retail and service network throughout India. The new store format plans to expand store counts from 800 to 4,000 across the country. The following year, the stores will continue to expand, in particular, adding 3200 new stores, most of which will also have a co-located service center. This strategy aims to expand the footprint of Ola Electric across not only metro cities but also tehsils and smaller towns, strengthening the brand presence in India.
Bhavish Aggarwal, chairman and managing director, Ola Electric said that the expansion will redefine the way customers experience buying and owning EVs. The new stores, along with service centers, will make the EV purchase and ownership experience better than ever before and set new industry standards, especially with their #SavingsWalaScooter campaign, whereby consumers will be able to get more in terms of savings.
In fact, as part of this expansion, Ola Electric is introducing a special edition of its famed S1 scooter as well: The Ola S1 Pro Sona. This special edition includes 24K gold-plated components and is a real step up to more luxury features in electric scooters.
He further noted that they had also launched new scooter variants to meet a variety of consumer needs, along with the expansion. The Ola Gig is priced at Rs 39,999 and the Ola Gig+ retails at Rs 49,999. Ola S1 Z and S1 Z+ variants are priced at Rs 59,999 and Rs 64,999 respectively, but these prices are introductory.
